CONSIDERATIONS
TO ASSURE PROPER MAG METER READINGS. |
| In order to avoid errors due to air it is important that
you avoid the installations shown at right. The meter installed on the top of the
pipe may contain |

Horizontal pipe run
Install in slightly ascending pipe section. If not possible assure adequate velocity
to prevent air, gas or vapor from collecting in the upper part of teh flow tube. |

| Open Feed or discharge Install meter in low section of
the pipe. |
|
| If you have a down pipe over 16 feet in length install
air valve downstream of flowmeter. |
|
| Always install shut-off valves downstream of the
flowmeter. |
|
| Never install mag meter on the suction side of a pump. |
