EASY MAG STEP #3

KROHNE MAG METERS MADE EASY

1.  There are two basic components to a complete Krohne mag meter.  The first is the flow tube,(shown at right)  this is the section that actually goes into the line and houses the electrodes and the liner.  This is the section that actually comes in contact with the media and when we talk about material compatibility the flow tube is the component we are talking about.

KROHNE CONVERTERS

The second component to a complete mag meter is the converter.(Shown at right) This device sits on top of the flow tube and converts the signal sent from the flow tube to an output for an operator to read or to be inputted into a control system.   converter1.gif (6517 bytes)
Krohne(IFC 010 Converter)  For economical standard applications.

Krohne (090 Converter)  For more rugged applications (approvals)

All Krohne Mag meters require some type of flow tube and some type of converter.
