CrystalSENS Detector

CrystalSENS is a point detector, mainly used for density, bulk flow and level switch applications. In combination with a rod source the CrystalSENS is also used for level measurement applications, where the accuracy requirements are particularly high.

Containing a high-quality scintillation crystal made of Sodium Iodide, this detector provides the best sensitivity to Gamma radiation in such small spaces and is therefore able to work with very low source activities. The CrystalSENS detector is characterized by a compact design and is ideally suited for applications with limited space requirements.

UniSENS Detector

With a sensitive detector length of 0.5 up to 2.0m, the UniSENS rod detector is primarily used for continuous level measurements. In order to cover even larger measuring ranges, multiple UniSENS detectors can be cascaded. Interfaces can be determined reliably in combination with a rod source.

Due to our patented method for detector stabilization, temperature influences and aging effects are reliably compensated, leading to the consistently high-quality measuring performance for which our detectors are renowned.
Cascaded UniSENS systems can extend the measuring range almost arbitrarily (in any manner). To set up a cascaded multi-detector system, the complete parameterization can be done via the master unit. Communication via the connected slaves is not required. This is also the case for all maintenance and diagnostic purposes.

TowerSENS Detector

With a max. length of 8m, the TowerSENS rod detector is specifically designed to monitor long measuring ranges. With only one electronic unit and only one flameproof-housing, the TowerSENS is significantly more economical than systems comprising several short cascading detectors. Moreover, the wiring efforts and the risk of complete system failure is drastically reduced.

TowerSENS uses a scintillation rod - 2 inches (50mm) in diameter to ensure high sensitivity and accuracy over the whole measuring range. Therefore, the TowerSENS detector can work with 15-20 fold less source activities compared to scintillation fiber technology.
Due to the stainless steel housing and the robust scintillation rod, the TowerSENS can work in the most demanding of process conditions. Our patented method for detector stabilization reliably compensates for temperature influences and aging effects and ensures the outstanding detector performance over many years.
