Metering pumps are used wherever fluids must be dosed with the highest possible grade of accuracy with a defined volume and within a defined time period. Metering Pumps (Reciprocating Positive Displacement Pumps) pull in a defined fluid volume with the back-stroke of the displacer and discharge it into the metering line with the pressure stroke. Thus, a constantly exact metering is achieved and remains constant even at varying backpressures. |
