Western States Quadramatic™ Centrifuge
| The Quadramatic™ is an under-driven, bottom discharging or top unloading centrifuge developing up to 2,000 gravities of filtering force. The Quadramatic™ centrifuge features the Monocut™ discharger which has a full length plow blade and removes the product in a single inward motion with no vertical travel. The fully perforated basket provides a very high drain rate to quickly separate the solid and liquid portions of the feed slurry. By properly specifying the filter and backing screen combination a wide range of particle sizes can be separated. The Quadramatic™ centrifuge is available in capacities from 0.1 ft³ to 33 ft³. Western States Comi-Condor Inverting-Filter Centrifuge/Dryer
| The Comi-Condor Inverting-Filter Centrifuge/Dryer is revolutionary in performance and design. Applications include high purity / friable pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals. Advantages: 1) Gentle - Discharge is performed strictly by inverting the filter cloth and spinning the product off centrifugally. There is NO KNIFE or BLADE to damage long or delicate crystals or friable products; 2) Improved CIP - NO moving parts other than the filter cloth, movable platen and basket. Elimination of the discharge knife, feed line, spray line and load control* removes potential areas of contamination and greatly improves cleanability. [*Load control (basket fill level) is performed by a proprietary load cell arrangement.]; 3) Rear slurry/liquid feed line eliminates all front feed and wash connections and seals; and 4) Drying inside the centrifuge is possible with up to 80 psig differential pressure across the cake. | The ConCent™ Centrifuge is design for applications where a continuous process or very high capacity is required. The ConCent™ is fitted with a conical basket to allow continuous feeding of a slurry and discharge of the separated solids. Continuous operations are best suited for applications that require high capacity and large (greater than 300 micron) particle size.
